On a personal note: Laurie married her loving husband, Rex, in 1984. Rex is a career soldier and Physician Assistant. They met in church and have always served their local congregations. Together they serve as medical missionaries, camp counselors and group leaders, and they love to travel, snow ski, golf and play backgammon.
Laurie will tell you her main “job” and joy in life has been raising and spending time with her eight amazing children and now seven grandchildren.
